Pretty much, just read over everything carefully before firing up Outlook and emailing me. I honestly do love getting mail, so don't get
offended if it seems harsh. Mostly, I just don't have the time to handle this site as I did in the past.
Q: Can you draw something for me?
A: Um, no, not for free anyway. It's not because I hate drawing for people or anything, but I just don't have time for requests anymore. Also, at the moment, commission status is closed, because I work a fulltime job and have a child to take care of.
Also, people that think it's cool to email asking why art of their favorite character/series isn't on this site: there's a reason for that, and that reason is probably because it's something I don't like. So, don't bother emailing whining about it. This is a fansite made by a fan, and I'll put what I damned well please on it.
Q: Do you do art exchanges and kiriban?
A: No.
Q: May I use your art/story for my site?
A: If there's something on this site that you want to use online,
email me first. It's just common courtesy.
You'll find that 99% of the time, I'll say yes as long as sufficient credit is given. Also, a link to a finished site is required, so
that I may make an assessment on allowing permission.
If I find that my work is being use without my permission, believe me, I'll go after you with my herd of goats and this here wrench.
And note the link to The Online Fanarts Protection on the front page. I very much support artist's rights
and will decline from allowing my work to be seen on sites that also host stolen/uncredited art. It doesn't take much to catalog where you've
obtained art and to contact the artists, and it is just rude not to ask.
Q: Why do you take so long to respond to emails?
A: Usually, it's one of two reasons: 1) I'm extremely busy or 2) Somebody didn't read the FAQ, and I'm having a time trying to come up with a
compromise and helpful solution. Please, read over everything before emailing.
Q: Can you teach me how to use Painter/Photoshop?
A: As much as I like to, I can't. I don't have the time to make tutorials as detailed as I like. But, you're more than welcomed to email me with specific questions about technique :)
Q: Do you do link exchanges?
A: At the moment, no I don't. I'm still backlogged from last year, and have even lost emails. It's not pretty, not pretty at all.
Q: Why don't you update more often?
A: Simple: I'm lazy. However, what you can do is check my DeviantArt account for new art and scraps, if it's been awhile since I updated. And actually, I will link to new art in my livejournal as well.
Q: How the hell do you say "Losstarot"?
A: LOH-stah-roht. No, it is not "Loh-stah-ROH" or "Loss Tarot", though both are pretty cool names.
Q: Why are the noses on your character art so big?/Why are all the people in your art so ugly and fat?
A: If you haven't noticed, I AM NOT A MANGA/ANIME STYLED ARTIST. Yes, I do like Japanese art, and it shows. But, goodness, I'd rather not draw anorexic school girls with no noses and men that look like women. So, if you don't like it, tough.
Q: What's with all the fanart?
A: This isn't a portfolio site. It's a hobby site.

A: Do you know how creepy that sounds when you email me with stuff like this?
